Artsy Crafters exists because artisans with disabilities make some of the most creative and sought-after crafts on the market. But they are often unable to travel to craft shows where fellow artisans display to the public.

This website was created to help remedy that.

After being diagnosed with a debilitating autoimmune disease in 2006, I found myself looking for practical ways to bring my own handicraft creations to market. Unable to continue in any outside career—it is my artistic skills which now help generate family income. That and my business background.

Importantly, Artsy Crafters has since grown into a marketing website for all disabled artisans—offering a cornucopia of creativity expanding across all the crafts. With marketing, accounting and logistics taken care of by us at Artsy Crafters, artisans are able to devote more time to what they do best: creating things of beauty.

Our products are fashioned by individuals who, due to a chronic illness or physical impairment, may be unable to commute to a job or unable to work full-time and otherwise contribute to the support of their families. When you buy our beautifully created crafts you are assisting them in doing so—with renewed sense of pride, productivity and community.

And hope for the future.
