 Our talents are gifts from God. Skills are what we learn to perfect our talents and no matter what it is... it will serve you for years to come.
Sadly, some people will sometimes forget and put their talents aside, while others may not even know what their talent may be.
One day something happens that throws your entire being out of balance. It may take awhile, but you will soon have to find an alternate way of doing things. It may be at a slower pace, which is alright because at least you are moving.
A talent or skill gives you a feeling of self-worth. It raises your self esteem...it comes from doing what you love.
Sewing is a skill for life. I have always loved sewing. To me, it is not only rewarding, but also relaxing, and very useful. I believe you should pass these skills along to others.
I decided to use my sewing talent to help others by offering classes to teach teenagers and adults who want to learn this valuable skill.
They will learn lessons in basic sewing and from this lesson they can continue to perfect their skills by putting time into themselves and learn. Just like any skill or talent, it takes practice, practice, and more practice. And when you become good at it, you will have a Skill for Life.
